...Our trip to
the Outer Cape continued. Driving through
Eastham we finally arrived in Wellfleet.
We first decided to get accommodations at a Cape
Cod motel for the
evening, and headed straight for the Mainstay
Motor Inn in South Wellfleet. This motel
is very close to some of the best beaches of the
Cape Cod National Seashore. While in town,
we visited the Wellfleet Bay Audubon Wildlife
Sanctuary and enjoyed our time on the Main
Street of what has become Cape Cod's "Art
Gallery Town."
The next day we
only had to drive through Truro before arriving
in Provincetown to begin our whalewatch
